PRO50 MATCH: SOUTHERN ROCKS v MASHONALAND EAGLES

Result: No result after rain stopped play with Eagles 102/2 in 21.5 overs.

Hosts Southern Rocks won the toss and chose to field, in their Pro50 match at the Masvingo Sports Club which was reduced to 36 overs per side because of rain.

Eagles made 102 runs for two wickets before another outburst from the skies put paid to play after 21.5 overs. Regis Chakabva and Sikandar Raza Butt were at the crease when play was stopped, with the former on 42 and the latter 28.

Cuthbert Musoko had claimed one wicket for 20 runs in five overs, and Trevor Garwe one for 20 in four.

The teams had to share the four points at stake.
