Zimbabwe have intensified their preparations ahead of the forthcoming tours by the Australia A and India senior teams.
First in will be Australia A who will play a three-day match in Harare from the 18th to the 20th of July, during a stop-over on their way to South Africa.
After that, India will visit Zimbabwe for five One-Day International (ODI) matches.
The first three ODIs are at Harare Sports Club on Wednesday the 24th, Friday the 26th and Sunday the 28th of July. Thereafter, the tour will move to Bulawayo for two ODIs at the Queens Sports Club on Wednesday the 31st of July and Saturday the third of August.
After a month in which fitness was top of the agenda, emphasis now shifts to the technical aspect of the game, with the players in camp taking part in practice games on Wednesday the third of July and the following day.
“We have come to the stage where we would want to give these guys real match scenarios where they will be executing their skills,” said assistant coach Stephen Mangongo.
